Our people are the leading experts in their field, with a focus on innovation, customer service and excellence.
Established in 2004, Perpetuum revolutionised the way large amounts of information can be gathered. We achieved this by engineering, producing and commercialising the world’s first practical vibration energy harvesting micro-generator.
We are working with a number of companies and already providing this innovative combination of scalable technology and knowledge to Abellio, Eversholt Rail, GoVia, Keolis-Amey, Metro Trains Melbourne, Network Rail, Siemens, SJ (Sweden) and Stadler.
In 2021, Perpetuum joined Hitachi Rail, giving it access to the company’s transportation portfolio in over 38 countries worldwide. Hitachi Rail is a fully integrated, global provider of rail solutions across rolling stock, signalling, service & maintenance, digital technology and turnkey railway systems.
As part of Hitachi, Perpetuum’s remote condition monitoring solutions contribute to Hitachi Rail’s strategy of expanding its digital capabilities to better serve the rail industry and its customers. This enables Perpetuum to leverage off an ecosystem of leading digital solutions including the Lumada platform, offering services such as Systems automation, Data management and Enterprise asset management.
